The origin of separation between men and women during many rituals
in almost all the religions finds its roots in the low level of consciousness
of the societies at that time, not in any prerequisite of a so-called spiritual
practice. It has nothing to do with religion or spirituality but with common
sense to consider that women should be covered or even hidden to protect
themselves in societies where men do not treat them as the other obvious half
of humanity. The non-sense is that it is no more questioned.
The religion is high where the consciousness is low. And we need it
just like we need laws when the common sense is not yet there.
