Life and blood...

Our perceptions are twisted in so many ways and especially regarding our gender and strength. Women are naturally equipped to receive life force through their bond to the nature and/or their pregnancies; whereas for a man to feel his life force he needs first to receive his mother and through that to honour life.

“In the red tent, the truth is known. In the red tent, where days pass like a gentle stream, as the gift of Innana (the great mother) courses through us, cleansing the body of last month’s death, preparing the body to receive the new month’s life, women give thanks for repose and restoration, for the knowledge that life comes from between our legs, and that life costs blood.”
